Back To School!!

Well, the summer flew by and now we are back in school. This will be the last year that the kids will all be in elementary school. So sad! Austin is in first grade, Kylee is now in third grade and Ryan is finishing elementary school in fifth grade.

Jackson's Blessing Day

Jackson in his blessing outfit that was also worn by big brother Ryan, Cousin Tyler and Cousin Xander. Please notice that this DOES NOT FIT HIM AT ALL! I forced Russ to cover him with the blanket during the blessing to disguise the lack of fabric coverage.

Ironically this is our official first family photo with Jackson. After Mom had taken several shots and handed the camera back she admitted that she could not see a thing and was blindly shooting the camera. Go figure! Sadly this was the best of the bunch. On a brighter note, it is full of personality!

Jackson was blessed on July 4th. Russ gave a beautiful blessing. Afterwards a friend approached me and said that during the blessing she felt very strongly that Jackson would grow to be a great leader. I got goosebumps as she spoke about him.

Monogram Project

This was a fun project that Kylee & I thought up as a gift for Kylee's friends as a birthday gift. All we used were stretched canvas, fabric, scrapbook paper, ribbon & buttons. I think they turned out really cute & they were really fun & easy to make.

Here is Emerson & Brooke at the park during a visit to Aunt Julie's & Uncle Donald's for Easter. They were so cute walking around and holding hands. At the house they were spotted in Emerson's room playing dolls together. Little did we know by the end of that month they would be moving to Texas. We were blessed to have this time together before they left.

Our New Arrival...

Meet Jackson Edward Jones. He was born May 3, 2010 and weighed in at a whopping 9lbs. 7oz. and 22" long. He is such a mellow little guy and is spoiled with attention from his siblings. We are so blessed to have him.
